    Bruins Fans Get Their Man
BOSTON – The Bruins are back in action Saturday night, so that means Todd Angilly is back on the microphone. A fan favorite for his opera-style rendition of the national anthem, Angilly performed only one game during the 4 Nations Face-Off at TD Garden. When New England hockey fans learned he would not sing prior to the championship game between the United States and Canada, the response on social media was one of disappointment. Instead, Grammy Award-winning singer Isabel Leonard performed, accompanied by the Boston Pops orchestra.  Still, Angilly was thrilled with his opportunity to sing on the international stage prior to the United States-Sweden game last Monday at TD Garden.  “Just to be part of (4 Nations Face-Off) in any way, shape, or form was amazing,” he said. “It really didn’t hit me until the dress rehearsal and seeing the other flags and meeting the other anthem singer from Sweden; we had a great conversation. It was just awesome. It was a whole new level. The crowd was amped, and it was tough to hold myself back. It was a great experience.” Bruins fans will be happy to see him tonight on home ice.

Bruins Legend Brad Marchand Comes Up Big In Panthers Debut
Boston Bruins legend Brad Marchand made his Florida Panthers debut in their March 28 contest against the Utah Hockey Club. The former Bruins captain suffered an injury in his final game with the Bruins on March 1 and was forced to be sidelined until now. Marchand certainly made a massive impact in his first game as a Panther. During overtime, Marchand recorded the primary assist on Bruins villain Sam Bennett's game-winning goal. No, you're not having a bad dream, Bruins fans.  Marchand demonstrated his excellent playmaking skills on the play, as he made a perfect pass in front to Bennett. From there, Bennett beat Utah goalie Karel Vejmelka with a sweet backhander.  This was certainly a great way for Marchand to make a first impression with the Panthers. The Bruins are undoubtedly going to miss him, as the 16-year veteran was still one of the team's best players before the trade.  It will now be interesting to see how Marchand builds on his strong debut with the Panthers from here.  Recent Bruins News  Should The Boston Bruins Extend Parker Wotherspoon? Boston Bruins Updates: The Latest On Nikita Zadorov
Boston Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov did not play during the club's March 26 contest against the Anaheim Ducks. This is because the left-shot defenseman left the team to return to Boston to deal with a family matter. The Bruins certainly struggled defensively without Zadorov in the lineup, as they lost by a 6-2 final score to the Ducks. However, it appears that No. 91 won't miss more time from here. Zadorov has returned to the team and was a participant at their March 28 practice. This is certainly good news for the Bruins, especially when noting that the Bruins end their road trip on March 29 against the Detroit Red Wings.  While speaking to reporters, Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco noted that it was good for the team that Zadorov returned to practice. "It's good to have Z back with the group again," Sacco said. "Skated today and was able to get a practice in before tomorrow. We need him back in there." Now that Zadorov is back for the Bruins, he will aim to help the team snap their seven-game losing streak from here. In 72 games this season, he has four goals, 17 points, 135 penalty minutes, 183 hits, and a plus-14 rating.  Recent Bruins News  Should The Boston Bruins Extend Parker Wotherspoon? Should The Boston Bruins Extend Parker Wotherspoon?
The Boston Bruins have multiple pending free agents on their roster as we inch closer to the end of the 2024-25 season. Because of this, Bruins management has some decisions to make about who they will want to keep around beyond this season. One Bruin who can hit the market as an unrestricted free agent on July 1 is defenseman Parker Wotherspoon. The 27-year-old blueliner has continued to be a serviceable depth defenseman for the Bruins this campaign, posting one goal, six points, and 60 hits in 46 games thus far.  Wotherspoon has offered the Bruins' blueline with versatility, as he can play both sides. In addition, he has been used on multiple different pairings throughout the year and has gotten penalty-kill time.  With this, it is fair to wonder if the Bruins could look to extend Wotherspoon at an affordable price. While he is not the flashiest of defensemen, he could be worth keeping around as a bottom-pairing or seventh defender.  Do you think the Bruins should extend Wotherspoon? Bruins Defenseman Fined By NHL Player Safety
NHL Player Safety has announced that Boston Bruins defenseman Michael Callahan has been fined $2,018.23 for cross-checking, which is the maximum allowable under the current CBA.  The play occurred in the Bruins' March 26 contest against the Anaheim Ducks. During the matchup, Callahan landed a high cross-check on Ducks forward Jansen Harkins. Following it, the Bruins rookie was handed a four-minute double-minor for high-sticking.  Later on in the contest, Callahan dropped the gloves with Harkins for his first career NHL fight.  Callahan, 25, has appeared in his first 14 NHL games this season with the Bruins, where he has zero points, seven penalty minutes, 11 blocks, and a minus-4 rating. Down in the AHL with Providence this campaign, he has one goal, eight points, and a plus-4 rating in 43 games.  Recent Bruins News  Bruins' David Pastrnak Joins Elite Company With Amazing Stat Report: Bruins & Promising Goalie Having Contract Extension Talks Former Bruin Brad Marchand's Possible Panthers Debut Date Revealed Bruins To Be Without Another Important Defender Boston Bruins Debut New Lines At Practice Charlie McAvoy Reflects On Bruins' Trade Deadline Fire Sale Boston Bruins' Morgan Geekie Nearing Big Milestone Boston Bruins Sign Forward Prospect To AHL Deal

Bruins' David Pastrnak Joins Elite Company With Amazing Stat
The 2024-25 season has been a disaster for the Boston Bruins, and it is only continuing to get worse as we get closer to the finish line. The Original Six club is currently sporting a seven-game losing streak, where they have been outscored 36-13 over that span. However, even with how terribly this season has gone for the Bruins, superstar forward David Pastrnak is continuing to dominate for the Original Six club. In 73 games this season, the 2014 first-round pick has 35 goals, 50 assists, and 85 points. This includes 22 goals and 48 points in 34 games since the start of the new year. Due to his impressive play, Pastrnak has joined elite company. No. 88 is now just the fifth player in Bruins history to score at least 35 goals in four straight seasons. The only other Bruins to achieve this feat are Phil Esposito (eight seasons), Rick Middleton (six seasons), Peter McNabb (six seasons), and Cam Neely (five seasons). Since he arrived in Boston, Pastrnak has been an incredibly impactful sniper. This latest outstanding stat only shows just how dominant Pasta has been. In 747 career games, the 28-year-old winger now has 383 goals, 429 assists, 812 points, and a plus-132 rating.  Recent Bruins News  Report: Bruins & Promising Goalie Having Contract Extension Talks Former Bruin Brad Marchand's Possible Panthers Debut Date Revealed Bruins To Be Without Another Important Defender Boston Bruins Debut New Lines At Practice Charlie McAvoy Reflects On Bruins' Trade Deadline Fire Sale Boston Bruins' Morgan Geekie Nearing Big Milestone Boston Bruins Sign Forward Prospect To AHL Deal Boston Bruins Prospects: Will Zellers Hits Incredible Milestone
