Former Buffalo Sabre Brayden McNabb was coming off the best offensive playoff performance of his career, with three assists in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, but his Game 2 ended early, after he took a Nikolaj Ehlers slapshot to the face in Game 2 on Thursday. McNabb was taken to the hospital, and his status was not updated by Vegas head coach John Tortorella after the 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.
