Sabres rookie Konsta Helenius is heading to Switzerland to play for Finland in the 2026 IIHF World Championships. After scoring nearly a point per game in the American Hockey League for Rochester (21 goals, 41 assists in 63 games), and making his NHL regular-season debut with the Sabres, the 20-year-old stepped into Buffalo's lineup replacing veteran Sam Carrick and scored a pair of goals in four games against Montreal.
