With the NHL season kicking off tonight, it got me thinking. Who are some of the coaches on the hot seat?
Well, there were two names that came to mind. First, Andrew Brunette of the Nashville Predators and secondly, Buffalo Sabres' Lindy Ruff.
I decided to focus on Ruff, who is a legend in Buffalo. However, if things don't get off to a great start this season. It may be time to bring in another coach.
At this point, it may also be time to move on from Kevyn Adam's and a good portion of the front office. But typically, we've always seen the coaches go first. Which makes me wonder, how long is Ruff's leash?
When you factor in some of the injuries that the team is dealing with to start the year. One would think it may be longer than normal. But, it likely won't be too long, and if the team struggles badly. He may very well be the first coach fired of the 2025-26 season.
