Sports souvenirs like the Pittsburgh Steelers "Terrible Towel", became quite famous, to the point that nearly every sports franchise gives out towels at their games. Bobbleheads of every kind are also extremely popular.

Buffalo's history of souvenirs has not been as illustrious, like, for example, the Buffalo Bills infamous "Whammy Weenie", which had to be recalled after it was discovered that the green paint used on it was lead-based. 

The Sabres Beer Sabre has been a big hit with fans this season, as has become a centerpiece of beverage chugging during TV timeouts throughout the season. The trend has now been copied by other franchises, as the Carolina Hurricanes started selling souvenir Beer Skate.
