Buffalo's own Goo Goo Dolls have been closely associated with the Sabres this season, beginning with Johnny Rzeznik and Robby Takac announcing the club's first round selection of Radim Mrtka at the NHL Draft in Los Angeles last June, to the fans singing along to the band's biggest hit "Iris" during the season. 

The Sabres are now using "Better Days" from their 2006 "Let Love In" album as their theme for their first playoff appearance in 15 years.
