The Buffalo Sabres are expecting big things from all players this season. And in this final file in THN.com's series looking at the expectations of each Sabres player, we're focusing on Buffalo winger Zach Benson.
With an opening on the Sabres' first line, Benson is going to be the first one who gets an opportunity to fill it. Time will tell whether Benson was up to the challenge, but as the season begins, Benson will have every chance at thriving alongside linemates Josh Norris and Tage Thompson. So if he can't make it work with those two high-end talents, Benson will be shuttled down the Sabres' depth chart.
