The stars were not aligned for the Buffalo Sabres in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference Semi-Final series with the Montreal Canadiens on Friday night, as Buffalo lost 5-1 to the Habs at KeyBank Center, but there were stars in attendence for the contest.
Former Sabres goalie Ryan Miller banged the drum prior to the start of the game, but the world of music, acting, and football were also represented. Buffalo native John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls attended his first NHL playoff game and was shown on the center ice scoreboard when the band's song "Better Days" played. Marvel's Wyatt Russell, the son of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, was there, along with Amherst native and Bills nemesis Rob Gronkowski.
