The Buffalo Sabres are in their 56th season and have a storied history. The club has 15 players who have been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, and many others who deserve recognition. Over the next few weeks, we will be looking at players in Sabres history by their jersey number, ranking the top three players to wear that particular number.

The top three who wore #10 in team history are:  Craig Ramsay, Dale Hawerchuk, and Henrik Tallinder.

Ramsay was a pre-eminent two-way forward who also scored 20 or more goals eight straight seasons and played all 14 seasons of his career with Buffalo. Hawerchuk was acquired from Winnipeg for Phil Housley in 1990 and averaged over 90 points in his four seasons with the Sabres. Tallinder was the prototypical defensive defenseman who played nine seasons with Buffalo, including the two years when the Sabres went to two Eastern Conference finals.
