The Buffalo Sabres will be fighting tooth-and-nail to make the Eastern Conference playoffs next season. And one of the teams that is standing in Buffalo's way between them and the playoffs is a team that ended their own playoff drought last season -- the Ottawa Senators.
We've been looking at each of the Sabres' seven Atlantic Division rivals in this short THN.com series, and in this particular file, we're focusing on the Sens. Buffalo routed Ottawa last season, winning all four games. And if things go the Sabres' way this year, they could edge out the Senators for what could be the fourth and final playoff spot in the East.
We've outlined the state of the rivalry between the two teams in this file, but we want to know how you feel -- if only one of the Sabres and Senators make the playoffs next season, which one will it be? Let us know in the comments below -- and be sure to register to be part of the Sabres community here at The Hockey News.
