20 years ago today, Buffalo Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff lost his composure after Toronto Maple Leafs forward Darcy Tucker went knee-on-knee with Sabres forward Jochen Hecht.

Ruff called for Tucker to be suspended and said he'd call the league to make sure they looked at the play, but in the end, the Leafs forward did not receive any supplementary discipline.  Hecht missed a couple of weeks with a knee injury, but returned for the Stanley Cup playoffs.
