Former Buffalo Sabres defenseman and 1980 Team USA gold medalist Mike Ramsey dropped the puck prior to the Sabres' final game before Olympic break against Pittsburgh on Thursday. 

The club's first round pick in 1979 played over 12 years in Buffalo before being traded to the Penguins in 1993 and is considered by many to be the best stay-at-home defenseman in the Sabres' 56-year history. 

The club has only eight numbers retired, and the only defenseman who has had that honor is the late Tim Horton's #2. Do you think Ramsey's #5 should be retired?
