Hockey Hall of Famer Dominik Hasek won an impressive six Vezina Trophies from 1994 to 2001, a stretch that was only interrupted by Washington Capitals goalies Jim Carey in 1996 and Olaf Kolzig in 2000.
On this day in 1999, Hasek won his fifth Vezina after leading the Sabres to the Stanley Cup Final.
