Jason Woolley's most famous playoff goal came in 1999, when he scored in overtime in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Dallas Stars, but a year before, the Sabres blueliner scored another key goal against the team that drafted him, the Washington Capitals. Tied 1-1 late in the third period of Game 5, Woolley scored past Olaf Kolzig to give the Sabres a 2-1 win, but Buffalo would be eliminated two days later at home.
