Who is the best Sabre to wear #75 - 77?

The Buffalo Sabres are in their 56th season and have a storied history. The club has 15 players who have been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, and many others who deserve recognition. Over the next few weeks, we will be looking at players in Sabres history by their jersey number, ranking the top two players to wear that particular number. Since less players have worn higher numbers in the club’s history, we will look at a range of numbers.
The top two who wore #75 through 77 in team history are: Pierre Turgeon and JJ Peterka
Turgeon was Buffalo’s top overall pick in the 1987 Draft and after scoring 14 goals as an 18-year-old rookie, he posted a pair of 30+ goal seasons and a 40 goal season before being the main part of the mega deal that brought Pat Lafontaine to the Sabres in 1991. Peterka was a second round pick in 2020, and after scoring a dozen goals as a rookie, he post 55 goals over two seasons before being dealt last summer to Utah for Michael Kesselring and Josh Doan.
