The Calgary Flames have five drafted prospects currently skating in the NCAA, including Trevor Hoskin and Aydar Suniev. Even though several of the players on this list are not signed, their rights belong to the club, so let's see how they've performed this season.
Initially selected by the Flames in the fourth round (106th overall) at the 2024 Draft, Trevor Hoskin left the OJHL and enrolled at Niagara University in the NCAA. As a two-way center, he's scored nine goals and 29 points in 26 games this season.

Hoskin is currently tied with teammate Jason Ahearn for the most points on Niagara, with Ahearn leading the club with 15 goals. Moreover, Hoskin is only one of two drafted prospects in the lineup, along with Braden Doyle of the Los Angeles Kings. Overall, the Flames prospect ranks 14th in NCAA scoring.
The Flames selected Aydar Suniev with the 80th pick in the third round of the 2023 Draft. After destroying opponents in the BCHL with 45 goals and 90 points in 50 games, he transitioned to UMass in the NCAA.

Last year, Suniev had 12 goals and 25 points in 36 games. Thus far in 2024-25, he's already surpassed his previous career highs with 14 goals and 27 points in just 23 games. Not only is Suniev the second-best scorer at UMass, but he ranks as the NCAA's 21st-highest scorer.
Jake Boltmann joined the Flames organization through the 2020 Draft as a third-round pick, 80th overall. At the time, he played in the USHL before enrolling at the University of Notre Dame. In four seasons, he scored 20 points in 126 games.
This year, Boltmann transferred to Northeastern University and has a goal and seven assists in 21 games. Surprisingly, the right-handed defenseman ranks eighth in team scoring. Currently, he's one of seven NHL draft picks in the lineup.
Cade Littler was a seventh-round (219th overall) draft pick of the Flames in the 2022 Draft. At the time of the draft, he was skating in the BCHL, and during his second season with the Wenatchee Wild, he scored 29 goals and 68 points in 51 games.
Last season, Littler appeared in 14 games in the USHL with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, collecting eight goals and 11 points. He then skated with the Penticton Vees in the BCHL, scoring nine goals and 11 points.

During his first season in the NCAA, Littler has two goals and two assists at the University of North Dakota. He currently ranks second to last in scoring among the 13 NHL prospects on the team.
At the 2021 Draft, the Flames selected netminder Arsenii Sergeev in the seventh round (205th overall). Within a year of joining the organization, he became the USHL Goalie of the Year, posting a 14-4-2 record with a 2.08 GAA and .918 SV% at Tri-City Storm.

Sergeev jumped to the University of Connecticut and compiled a 19-14-1 record in 35 games. This season, he's skating at Penn State University and is 8-5-3 in 17 games, thanks to a 2.45 GAA and .915 SV%.
He ranks 34th in GAA and 31st in SV% among NCAA goalies, with a handful of NHL prospects ranking ahead of him.
