In need of a team-wide performance to snap their four-game winless skid, the Calgary Flames received exactly what they were looking for in a 4-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning Saturday night.

Thanks to goals by A.J. Greer, MacKenzie Weegar, Yegor Sharangovich and Connor Zary, the Flames claimed a well-deserved victory at the Saddledome.

Greer (fifth goal) and Weegar (eighth goal) both matched their career highs, while Sharangovich collected his 11th of the season and sixth in a five-game goal streak. The rookie Zary continues to be a surprise story with his seventh of the campaign.

Goalie Dan Vladar stopped 31 shots, 15 in the third period alone, to earn the victory in the first game back following a frustrating and winless three-game road swing.

The Lightning, who finished a five-game trip, received goals from Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos, and a sub-standard goaltending performance from Andrei Vasilevskiy.

Check back Sunday morning for the takeaways.
