After upending the Dallas Stars in a Friday-night thriller, Flames look for more of the same against the high-octane Avalanche

Now do it again.

The Calgary Flames drummed up an impressive 7-4 victory over the Dallas Stars on Friday in the first of two games on consecutive nights against Central Division powerhouses.

The follow-up will be Saturday’s clash with the Colorado Avalanche to end a four-game road swing in which the Flames have won two of three outings.

With a victory, Calgary (8-9-3) would jump into the Western Conference's second wild-card spot.
