The Carolina Hurricanes' front office is known for being shrewd.

They routinely find those diamond-in-the-rough types of players and always seem to get them signed to a good value contract.

They are great at finding talent and it almost seems like they can seamlessly transition into the Canes' systems.

CapFriendly recently posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, the top-10 contracts in terms of cost per point this season and Stefan Noesen took the cake as the top value contract (non-35+ or ELC).

According to CapFriendly, Noesen has cost the Hurricanes $28,240 per point this season which is the best rate in the NHL.

Noesen, who has 11 goals and 27 points in 47 games this season, is on pace for a career year... one year removed from another career year.

He's been tremendous in Carolina and has been a perfect fit on the fourth line and as a power play specialist.

The veteran forward is in the final year of a two-year, $1,525,000 contract (His base salary for this season is $775,000, league minimum) and he has more than played his way into a raise.

But for now, the Hurricanes are capitalizing on the cost-value Noesen has brought.

CapFriendly also highlighted the top value contracts among the ELC crowd and the Canes had two players make the list.

Seth Jarvis checked in at fourth-overall, costing just $36,688 per point and Jack Drury came in at seventh, costing $42,045 per point.

Jarvis, 22, has 15 goals and 38 points this season and is in the final year of his three-year ELC. His current salary this season is $832,000.

Drury, 23, has eight goals and 22 points this season and is also in the final year of his three-year ELC. His current salary is $925,000.
