The Hurricanes have been hit with the illness big, leaving the lineup in question.

The Canes acquired forwards Mikko Rantanen and Taylor Hall in exchange for Martin Necas and Jack Drury.

What - Game 53 (32-16-4)
When - 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1
Where - Lenovo Center; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - FanDuel Sports Network South, KCAL

The Carolina Hurricanes will take on the LA Kings (26-17-6) tonight as they look to extend their point streak to eight games.

The Canes are coming off of a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, a game in which Ryan Suzuki made his NHL debut and the Canes played down a skater due to illness.

The team will be facing that illness conundrum again though as coach Rod Brind'Amour declared that the whole team was a game-time decision for tonight due to the bug going around the room.

The Kings enter tonight's contest losers of their last four and having been shutout in back-to-back nights Wednesday and Thursday.

LA is really struggling to find consistent offense with the 29th ranked power play and only two players on the roster having broken the 30-point mark.

In their last 11 games, they've scored more than two goals just once.

This will however be the second game back for elite defenseman Drew Doughty who missed the first few months of the season due to a broken ankle suffered in the preseason.
