The Canes are back in Canada for a showdown with the league's top team.

The Carolina Hurricanes retired Eric Staal's number 12 in a ceremony Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025.

What - Game 54 (32-17-4)
When - 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4
Where - Lenovo Center; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - FanDuel Sports Network South

The Carolina Hurricanes take on the league leading Winnipeg Jets (37-14-3) for a top-end matchup.

Carolina is coming off of a 4-2 loss to the LA Kings on Saturday, but had points in seven straight before the loss.

The Canes are continuing to deal with a locker room bug that has already prevented multiple players from playing and that could still come into play tonight.

The Jets are coming off of a 5-4 overtime win over the Washington Capitals on Saturday and have now won six in a row.

Winnipeg is being led by goaltender Connor Hellebuyck who has hands down been the best goalie in the league this season, but they're also scoring a lot of goals too.

It will be an intriguing special teams matchup tonight too as the best power play takes on the best penalty kill.

However, both teams are struggling with the opposite side of special teams respectively as well.
