The Hockey News released the third edition of their power rankings.

We can't overreact yet, but the Stars and Hurricanes lead the way while the Bruins are the biggest surprise in the NHL power rankings.

Last week, the Carolina Hurricanes were ranked fifth. This week, they've been ranked second, only behind the Dallas Stars.
