Carolina Hurricanes franchise cornerstone Sebastian Aho is celebrating his 28th birthday today.
The Canes' number one centerman has accumulated 677 games of NHL experience after being drafted 35th overall by Carolina in 2015.
The Rauma native has 283 career goals and 631 career points in the regular season, which places him third amongst all active Finnish players and in the top-10 in both categories amongst all Finnish players to ever play in the NHL.
Aho also has 34 goals and 85 points in 89 postseason appearances, both franchise records.
The Hurricanes alternate captain has consistently been one of the league's top two-way players and is arguably a top-10 center in the league.
A freshly married man as of one year ago and a new father to boot, Aho is signed with the Hurricanes until 2032.
