Carolina Hurricanes blueliner Shayne Gostisbehere is set to take place in the Shoulder Check Showcase, a fundraising event aimed at supporting mental health.

The event is marketed as: "Your favorite players return to the ice for an NHL All-Star caliber game. More than a game. A full day built around the people who show up for each other. Expect familiar faces, a few surprises, and a day that stays with you long after the final horn."

The game will take place July 30th at the Martire Family Arena at Sacred Heart University.
