The Carolina Hurricanes' 2024-25 season came to a close earlier this week as the team lost in five games to the Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Final.

On Friday, select players met with the media in Raleigh for their end-of-season interviews.

    Jesperi Kotkaniemi

On how he feel he played this season: I mean, we were excited coming into this year. I think we had a really good start there. You know, I think the playoffs are always a little disappointing for everyone, but I think overall in the regular season, had a good start with [Martin Necas] and [Eric Robinson] there for a long time. Had a good line going on there. You know, playing third or fourth lines, I think it was a decent year.

On his approach to the summer: I think I just want to come back a little stronger. Have a good summer. Always a new chance when you come in the next year. Pumped for that one.

On if he feels there's still another level to his game offensively: I hope so. I feel I was drafted as a big skill guy. Haven't really gotten there yet, but hopefully that's coming.
