The Hurricanes went 1-1-0 over the past week. It was a slow week for the Carolina Hurricanes, but it's clear that in the two games they played, that they are continuing to struggle with their 5v5 play. Defensively, the team has looked better than it has in the past few weeks but the offense just continues to not be there. The Canes haven't had a 5v5 goal by a forward in three full games now and it's really a credit to the power play that the team has even had success as of late, although they were 0/6 this week.
