Moose Call Up Milic from ECHL
Thomas Milic will spend time back with Manitoba. The Manitoba Moose have recalled goaltender Thomas Milic from the ECHL.  The Winnipeg Jets have made the announcement that the youthful backstop has earned a promotion back to the American Hockey League.  Having started the season in Manitoba, Milic went on to post pedestrian numbers in his first year of AHL action. The 21-year-old went just 4-10-2 over 17 games for the bottom-feeding Moose. He put up far better numbers in the ECHL to go alongside a .500 record (3-3-0). Milic had a 2.33 goals against average and a .923 save percentage with the Norfolk Admirals.  Last year with Norfolk, Milic had an impressive 11-3-2 record. With Kaapo Kahkonen earning a call-up to Winnipeg in place of goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, the Moose are down a body in goal. Milic will fill that void as long as available. Manitoba is on the road in Laval on Wednesday for the first test of a two-game, week-day set, to which the team will look to bounce back from a lopsided home loss to Milwaukee on Monday.

Hellebuyck, Connor Come Out on Top in Battle Between Canada and USA
USA improves to 2-0-0-0 in the 4 Nations Cup. Team USA took home a 3-1 victory over Team Canada on Saturday night from Montreal in the 4 Nations Cup. It was a wild game, from start to finish, but it was the Americans who outplayed Canada from the get-go. Opting to drop the gloves not once, not twice, but three times in the game's first nine seconds, USA took it to Canada - which was down the league's top defenceman, Cale Makar, and already using the emergency backup defender with the series-ending injury suffered by Shea Theodore in Canada's opener. Josh Morrissey filled in as the No. 1 defenceman on Canada, and played the part well. He just couldn't help the Canadians score in the dying moments. It was essentially a 2-1 game, with Jake Guentzel potting his second of the contest into an empty net.  Connor Hellebuyck stood tall in the American net, turning aside 25 of the 26 shots that Canada sent his way. He has now allowed just once goal against per game - which just so happened to be the first goal of each game he has played in. Kyle Connor was shifted to the USA's fourth line for the game - for reasons unknown - and finished the game with four hits.  Morrissey had a shot on goal and two hits in his extended time on ice.  Connor McDavid scored the first goal of the game, blowing by the American defenders en route to a backhander rush play that beat Hellebuyck up top.  Guentzel got USA right back into it five minutes after McDavid's first period opener, putting one past Jordan Binnington 10 minutes into the game. It was Dylan Larkin who got what would eventually stand as the game-winner, as he beat Binnington midway through the second period on a snap shot that probably shouldn't have gone in. Guentzel's empty-netter with just over a minute left to play sealed it for USA, which improved to 2-0-0-0 in the tournament and secured its place in the championship game with the lone perfect record.  Canada will now take on Finland on Monday in Boston, while USA will host Sweden. If Canada beats Finland in regulation, it earns a spot in the final against USA, and vice versa. That do-or-die matchup is set to take place at 12:00 PM on Monday.

Connor Hellebuyck Earns 6-1 Victory in Opening Game for Americans
Hellebuyck helps USA to strong start at 4 Nations Face-Off. Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck picked up his first win of the 4 Nations Face-off on Thursday night.  Despite a shaky start, to which the American backstop gave up a goal to Finland just 3:31 into the game, Hellebuyck turned aside everything else that was sent his way, picking up a 6-1 victory to open the tournament. Named the Team USA starter earlier in the week, the reigning Vezina Trophy winner was rock solid for the Americans, making 20 saves on 21 shots. USA received two goals apiece from the Tkachuk brothers and both Brady and Matthew chipped in heavily on the offence. Matt Boldy and Jake Guenztel also put up tallies for the red, white and blue. Jets forward Kyle Connor contributed an assist on Boldy's second period, redirection marker. The Americans put up 32 shots on goal to Finland's 21, while scoring twice on man advantages. They doubled the Finns 32-16 in hits thrown, while turning over just 15 pucks to Finland's 23 turnovers. Next up for USA is a clash on Saturday night with the Canadians. That game is the second of the day, following Sweden and Finland earlier in the afternoon. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM central time.

Gary Bettman Announces Return of World Cup of Hockey for 2028
The World Cup of Hockey will return in 2028. After a brief hiatus, the World Cup of Hockey will return for the 2028 season. With puck drop on the 4 Nations Cup on Wednesday evening, it will mark the first best-on-best international hockey tournament featuring professional athletes since the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. Yes, it has been that long - Far too long in the perspective of some. Having last held a World Cup of Hockey in 2004, the NHL and NHLPA put together a make-shift event in 2016 that featured 'Team North America' consisting of youngsters from the local continent, competing against all the top nations. Now, in 2025, the 4 Nations Cup will feature Canada, USA, Finland and Sweden in a four-team round robin tournament.  On Wednesday, Bettman announced plans to have the World Cup of Hockey held every four years, alternating with the Winter Olympic Games every two years, beginning in 2028, bringing back the best-on-best international action that fans have been craving since the 2010 Winter Olympics.  It will be the fourth World Cup of Hockey (1996, 2004 and 2016), and a bidding process for host cities and venues will open in the coming months. “International best-on-best competition is very important to our Players – representing their countries on the ice is in their DNA — and hockey fans love it,” Bettman said.  “Resuming Olympic participation next season and staging a World Cup of Hockey in February 2028 will provide expanded opportunity for more players to represent more nations in best-on-best competition. With this tournament – and the World Cup’s return to regular rotation – the NHL and NHLPA take a major step in our joint commitment to international hockey.” The 2018 World Cup of Hockey will take place on NHL-sized ice surfaces, to which NHL rules and NHL referees will be implemented.

Jets Forward Rasmus Kupari Announces Engagement
Rasmus Kupari has asked for the hand of his partner Jasmiina in marriage. On Wednesday morning, Winnipeg Jets forward Rasmus Kupari made the announcement of his engagement to his long-term partner. Kupari and partner Jasmiina shared a joint Instagram post with the caption 10.2.2025 with an engagement ring emoji, indicating Kupari's success in asking for Jasmiina's hand on Monday. The two have been dating for at least seven years, with Jasmiina in attendance for the 2018 NHL Draft, where Kupari went 18th overall to the Los Angeles Kings. He was dealt to Winnipeg in the summer of 2023, alongside Gabe Vilardi and Alex Iafallo in the now infamous Pierre-Luc Dubois trade. Kupari is one of a number of Jets to travel south to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico over the player break during the 4 Nations Cup.  The engagement occurred while on vacation, likely on the beach of Cabo.

Three Jets at 4 Nations Earn High Praise From ESPN
Hellebuyck, Connor and Morrissey lauded in advance of 4 Nations. The three members of the Winnipeg Jets participating in the 4 Nations Cup have earned high praise from the folks at ESPN. Heading into the 10 day tournament, ESPN compiled its full list of players participating. All three players from the league-leading Jets were within the top-32 players. The 80-member list included all players from Canada, USA, Sweden and Finland and was shared to ESPN's social media channels. Connor McDavid topped the chart at No. 1 overall, with defenceman Cale Makar right behind him. But with 77 players left to go, Jets' goaltender Connor Hellebuyck came out next, ranking No. 3 overall - AKA one of the top players in the world. Remaining on the first page is Kyle Connor, who topped the charts at position No. 20. Right behind him was defenceman Josh Morrissey, who came in at No. 32 overall. Connor was the 15th ranked forward, while Morrissey was the seventh ranked defender. Hellebuyck, of course was the No. 1 goaltender on the list. Morrissey was the 10th ranked Canadian on the list, while Connor came in at No. 9 among Americans. Again, Hellebuyck was No. 1. The Jets' star backstop was a fitting 37 positions higher than the next-best goalie. The four-team tournament begins on Wednesday evening with a battle between Canada and Sweden.

Jets' Scheifele on Red Alert by 4 Nations Canadian Staff
Mark Scheifele is the next man up for Canada should injuries prevail. Mark Scheifele should be on Team Canada. It's as simple as that.  No, he was not selected by Don Sweeney and company back on December 4 when the official team announcement was made. At the time, the Winnipeg Jets' star centre was in the middle of battling a wrist injury, which was limiting his shot and temporarily switched him away from face-off duties. But since his snub, the Kitchener, ON. product has been on an absolute tear, putting up 18 goals and 36 points in the 30 games since the announcement.  "I think he should be on the team," Scheifele's head coach Scott Arniel said. Scheifele currently ranks third across the NHL in goals with 31 on the season and 11th in points with 61.  “Since we got the call that he wasn’t going to be on the team, he’s played fantastic. He’s had a great year, actually. I take that back. It’s all year. But even since that day he’s even taken it up another notch.” On Friday, it was announced that the Jets' alternate captain was told to remain on-call over the next two days prior to the start of the 4 Nations Cup. With 14 games on Saturday and two on Sunday, the possibility of injuries could serve as an invitation for Scheifele to join the squad, should a forward currently on the team go down in action.  Currently, the Canadian captain, Sidney Crosby, has been dealing with an arm injury that has kept him out of action in recent days. He has been skating and practicing on his own, but his status is not yet 100 percent clear. Also, Tampa Bay Lightning forward Anthony Cirelli has been listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury that forced him to miss Thursday's game vs. Ottawa. Should Crosby, Cirelli, or any other Team Canada member that suffers an injury on Saturday or Sunday not be good to go for the four-team tournament, it is believed that Scheifele would be the team's first choice as a replacement.  “If it works out for him, that’d be great,” Arniel added. “That’d be a great experience for him. All those guys going to play in that, it’s like playing playoff hockey in February. And you love those guys to get into that, be around those type of players. We will see where it ends up." Whether or not he already has a warm winter getaway booked for the next two weeks, one would think he has the resources to have purchased trip insurance/cancellation.  And injury to Crosby would be completely devastating for Canada, but would give another rightfully deserving Jet an opportunity to play for his country.  As it stands, Josh Morrissey will play a large role on the Canadian blueline, while Kyle Connor and Connor Hellebuyck should have critical roles for the United States. Officially, teams have until 4:00 PM central on Monday evening to name their final rosters, including injury replacements.  The tournament kicks off on Wednesday with Canada taking on Sweden, and concludes with the Gold Medal Game on February 20.

League-Leading Jets Earn Eighth-Straight Win Over New York
The Winnipeg Jets have won eight-straight games. Folks, they have done it again. On Friday night, the Winnipeg Jets picked up a 4-3 victory over the visiting New York Islanders. With the win, Winnipeg found its second winning streak of eight games on the season. The Jets opened the year with eight-straight wins and have now entered the two-week, 4 Nations Cup break on a second eight-game heater.  Gabe Vilardi set a new career-high scoring twice in the game, while Kyle Connor and Mark Scheifele assisted on both his goals, as Connor Hellebuyck earned his 34th victory of the season, which also served as Winnipeg's 22nd win at home.  The Jets actually fell behind rather early, with Simon Holmstrom scoring on a three-on-two rush up ice just 1:05 in. But Alex Iafallo got it right back for Winnipeg just three minutes later. His goal was a spectacular solo effort on a rush up ice, where he fended off two Islanders checkers before putting it up high past Ilya Sorokin. Again, it was the visitors that jumped back ahead at the 12:07 mark, as Marc Gatcomb got his third of the year off a bad bounce behind the net. The shots were even at nines through 20 minutes, but it was in the middle stanza where the Jets really took flight. The Jets' top line combined for two goals, with Vilardi potting both. Not to be outdone, the second line also stepped up with a three-point goal of its own, as Nikolaj Ehlers found his 17th of the season off of a beautiful assist from Cole Perfetti, who got the puck from Vlad Namestnikov. The Jets led 4-2 after 40 minutes and pulled ahead 21-16 on the shot chart. Winnipeg began the third by killing off two Islanders penalties, but ended up giving up a third goal to New York as the period wore on. It was defenceman Alex Romanov's three-shot shift in the middle stages of the third period that helped the Islanders pull to within one goal. Kyle Palmieri jammed home the rebound for his 15th goals of the season with 8:53 remaining.  Another penalty to Dylan DeMelo brought on yet another kill from the Jets' top unit, which stayed out for 1:58 of the two minutes. Hellebuyck slammed the door shut, helping drain the seconds off the clock. New York managed 10 shots on goal in just four minutes, pulling ahead 16-4 through the 18-minute mark of the frame. With Sorokin on the bench for the extra attacker, Winnipeg managed to kill off the final two minutes, picking up its league-leading 39th win of the season.  Hellebuyck finished the night with 32 stops on the 35 shots he faced, while Sorokin gave up four goals on 27 shots. The Jets will now head off to warm destinations for the next two weeks as the NHL observes the 4 Nations Cup. Connor Hellebuyck, Kyle Connor and Josh Morrissey will each participate, representing their respective countries.  Winnipeg will return back to the ice on February 22nd when they take on the St. Louis Blues.

    Line Combinations: Jets vs. Islanders
The Jets take on the Islanders from Canada Life Centre on Friday. Friday night will mark the Winnipeg Jets' final game before the two-week, 4 Nations Cup, mid-season schedule break. This probably couldn't have come at a worse time for Winnipeg, which has won seven-straight games heading into Friday's tilt with the New York Islanders. However, the two weeks should give injured forwards Adam Lowry and Morgan Barron some extra time to heal their ailments.  Red-hot over the past two weeks, Winnipeg (38-14-3) will take on the 25-21-7 Islanders at 7:00 PM central downtown from Canada Life Centre. The two changes to the Jets' lineup will be that of its stud goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, who will re-enter the crease, after giving way to Eric Comrie on Tuesday night, and a simple addition/subtraction featuring Parker Ford (out) and Brad Lambert (in). Line Combinations: Jets vs. Kraken
Winnipeg will host Seattle in the penultimate test of its eight-game stay. The 30-12-3 Winnipeg Jets are set to host the 19-23-3 Seattle Kraken from Canada Life Centre on Thursday. The two clubs will renew hostilities after the Jets knocked off Seattle near the start of the season 4-3 on a Nikolaj Ehlers overtime winner. Winnipeg has remained atop the NHL standings, while Seattle enters play in the 28th spot. The Jets do still have some injuries on their hands, but the team is growing healthier by the day. Haydn Fleury and Colin Miller are expected to return to game action by Saturday, while Winnipeg already sent defenceman Dylan Coghlan down to the minors earlier in the week.  Mason Appleton and Vlad Namestnikov remain out on forward, but Dominic Toninato and David Gustafsson have filled in the fourth line well, in their absence. Connor Hellebuyck will start in goal for Winnipeg. Stay up to date on all things #NHLJets right here. The Jets will battle the Canucks in Winnipeg on Tuesday night. The 29-12-3 Winnipeg Jets are set to host the 19-13-10 Vancouver Canucks from Canada Life Centre on Tuesday evening.  The all-Canadian tilt between Western Conference rivals will serve as the first of three matchups between the two clubs this season.  Vancouver is coming off a 3-0 shutout victory over Toronto on Saturday, while Winnipeg also defeated the Colorado Avalanche by the same score, on the same night.  The game will be the sixth of Winnipeg's season-high, eight-game homestand, to which the hosts have just a 2-1-2 record through the first five games.  Vladislav Namestnikov will remain out of the lineup on the team's injured reserve alongside Colin Miller, Mason Appleton and Haydn Fleury. Defenceman Colin Miller Sidelined with Fractured Larynx
Colin Miller will miss at least two weeks. Winnipeg Jets defenceman Colin Miller will be out of the lineup for at least two weeks. On Tuesday, Jets head coach Scott Arniel spoke of the severity of the injury that removed his 32-year-old rearguard from the game on Saturday. “Dangerous situation, but he’s doing a lot better," Arniel shared. "He can’t get hit again, obviously. He’s actually on a bike. He’s around the guys. Talks a little quieter. But he’s upbeat. It’s precaution now. He can’t go out and something happens, somebody runs into him… so, it has to heal.” Miller, who took a puck directly to the larynx, will miss two weeks, the bench boss said matter-of-factly. He was admitted to hospital for x-rays, but the tests came back better than some initially hoped, showing just the fracture - which will take a few weeks to fully heal. This injury may sound familiar, as one of Winnipeg's opponents, Alec Martinez of the Chicago Blackhawks suffered a similar injury after Adam Lowry's shot deflected into his throat last month. Martinez has been on Chicago's injured reserve with what the club is calling a 'neck injury'. “You never want to see anybody leave the game like that," defenceman Dylan Coghlan said, who has taken over the role left behind by Miller. “You just never want to see that. We were worried about him.” In 34 games with Winnipeg this season, Miller has scored twice and added another six assists. The former 2012 fifth round pick is in the first season of a two-year, $3 million contract signed this past offseason. He has 41 goals and 174 points over 546 career games with Boston, Vegas, Buffalo, Dallas, New Jersey and Winnipeg.

    Line Combinations: Jets vs. Ducks
The Jets will take on the Ducks on Thursday evening. The 27-11-1 Winnipeg Jets will host the 15-17-4 Anaheim Ducks from Canada Life Centre on Thursday evening.  Returning home following a quick 24-hour road trip to Colorado on Tuesday night, the Jets will look to bounce back following the loss against the Avalanche as they begin their season-high eight-game homestand. Still sitting first in the league and owning the best goals for and goal differential numbers of the 32 clubs, Winnipeg got outplayed in its lone road stop in an 11-game span - which also doubled as the second half of a back-to-back, came on the road against a high-scoring opponent, and saw backup goaltender Eric Comrie tend the net for reigning Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck.  Hellebuyck will look for his 25th win of the season on Thursday, which will be Winnipeg's first game of 2025, also doubling as Ukrainian Heritage Night at Canada Life Centre. Line Combinations: Jets at Ducks
Winnipeg will travel to Orange County for a test against the Ducks. The 23-9-1 Winnipeg Jets will take on the 11-14-4 Anaheim Ducks from the Honda Center on Wednesday night. Serving as the second stop of a California back-to-back, the Jets will look to pick up their second win in as many nights in the State, following a come-from-behind victory over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday.  A win would mark the team's sixth in its last eight games and third-straight.  Winnipeg is currently in the midst of three-straight games against clubs within the league's bottom-six (Montreal, San Jose, Anaheim). Nikolaj Ehlers has worked his way back from an injury and has been activated off the team's injured reserve. He will draw back into the lineup for the first time in 10 games on Wednesday.  It is expected that goaltender Eric Comrie will get the start on Wednesday, as Connor Hellebuyck suited up in the first half of the back-to-back. A possible substitution on defence could see itself happen for Winnipeg, as Ville Heinola, Logan Stanley, Haydn Fleury and Colin Miller have worked themselves into a bit of a rotation on the back-end. Puck drop is set for 9:00 PM central on Wednesday, and the game can be viewed live on TSN. Stay up to date on all things #NHLJets right here. Nikita Chibrikov "Really Happy and Excited" for Season Debut with Jets
The Winnipeg Jets will have a new face in the lineup on Tuesday evening. The Winnipeg Jets are set to square off with the Boston Bruins from Canada Life Centre on Tuesday evening.  Joining the club from the Manitoba Moose on an AHL recall is forward Nikita Chibrikov.  “I had a call from (Moose head coach) Mark Morrisson. He said I am the call-up. I was really happy and excited to be here.” Some may recall his NHL debut last season, where he earned a call-up alongside Brad Lambert for the final game of the year. He scored pretty goal in a lopsided win, and celebrated directly into the lens of the television camera. “It helps a lot," Chibrikov said when asked about getting the nerves out of the way in his first NHL contest last season. "When I made my debut, it was one of the first steps to becoming an NHL player and build a little bit more confidence. But it is a new season, it’s the regular season going, so it’s not their last game, so it’s a more pressure here. I am read for this game and will try my best to help the team to win this game" The 21-year-old Russian has played primarily with the Moose the past two seasons after being drafted in the second round by Winnipeg in 2021. He leads the Moose in scoring with five goals and 13 points in 19 games but has a -10 plus/minus statistic.  Chibrikov will join Vladislav Namestnikov and Cole Perfetti on the team's second line. “Yeah, great guys," he said of his linemates. "So Vladdy also knows Russian, so that’s a little easier for me. Fetts is a real smart player, so I think it’s really easy to find the chemistry with them. Just play the right way.” And what exactly is the 'right way?' “It’s more try to play my best game. Play my way, be ready a little bit quicker and fast decisions," he said. “Try to go in the corners, be heavy with the guys. I am not afraid to go to the net. Make smart decisions and a little bit of play making. Play smart and make some good moves for my partners also.” With his recall comes the re-assignment of 20-year-old Brad Lambert to the Moose. He had two penalty minutes and a -1 rating in his four games with the big league club this season.  Last year with Manitoba, Chibrikov put up 17 goals and 47 points in 70 games, and was invited to serve as the team's representative at the NHLPA Rookie Showcase this summer.

    Line Combinations: Jets vs. Bruins
The Jets will clash with the Bruins from Canada Life Centre on Tuesday. The 20-9-0 Winnipeg Jets are set to do battle with the 15-11-3 Boston Bruins  Having lost their first test of a four-game homestand to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday evening, Winnipeg will be extra hungry in its test with the resurgent Bruins. An Original Six matchup, Tuesday's game will certainly bring out a number of yellow-clad fans to Canada Life Centre. But the need to win at home for the Jets is nearing a high, as Winnipeg has now lost two-straight home contests, and hasn't picked up a victory in Winnipeg since the 6-3 over Florida back on November 19.  Brad Lambert has been sent down to Manitoba, while Nikita Chibrikov has earned a call-up in place of Lambert, who was filling in within the top-six en lieu of the injured Nikolaj Ehlers. Connor Hellebuyck will return to the goal for the Jets, as he hopes to pick up the pieces following Eric Comrie's decent showing on Sunday. Ville Heinola will draw back into the lineup in place of Colin Miller. He will skate with Logan Stanley on the third defence pairing. While David Gustafsson will make a return to the lineup on the Jets’ third line. Stay up to date on all things #NHLJets right here. Line Combinations: Jets at Sabres
The Jets will battle Buffalo on Thursday night. The 18-8-0 Winnipeg Jets have hit the road once again for Buffalo, where they will take on the 11-12-2 Sabres from New York on Thursday in the first stop of a brief two-game road trip.  Coming off a lopsided 4-1 home loss to St. Louis on Tuesday, the Jets are now in the midst of a season-high, three-game losing streak and have fallen out of first place. Down Dylan Samberg and Nikolaj Ehlers due to injury, Winnipeg is now back on the road for two games, where the Sabres will be the first challenge. According to those on scene in Buffalo, the Jets will go with the same assembly of players used on Tuesday, with some slight alterations to the forward groupings and defence pairs. Connor Hellebuyck will get the start in goal for Winnipeg, while Mark Scheifele shifts back to centre, and Josh Morrissey and Neal Pionk skate together on the top pair. Line Combinations: Jets vs. Blues
The Jets will clash with the Blues on Tuesday night. The 18-7-0 Winnipeg Jets will take on the 11-12-2 St. Louis Blues from Canada Life Centre on Tuesday night. The game will be Winnipeg's first at home in seven, and an opportunity to kick a three-game losing streak to the ground.  St. Louis enters the Central Division matchup with a new coach and a new approach, and winners of two of its last three games. For Winnipeg, it will be a rare home game in what has been a busy road stretch for the Jets, which return from a 2-4 trek, only to head back out on the road for two more contests on Thursday and Saturday.  It is the first game at Canada Life Centre since Winnipeg's 6-3 win over Florida on November 19. The Jets will then play four-straight home games next week, with action taking place every second day beginning on Sunday evening.  Connor Hellebuyck, the NHL's third star of the month of November, will be back between the pipes for the Jets, while the big news of the day is the recall of Brad Lambert. He will suit up in his second NHL contest on Tuesday, slotting in as the team's second line centre between a changed up forward grouping of Gabe Vilardi and Cole Perfetti. Vlad Namestnikov has assumed 1C duties between Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor.  Stay up to date on all things #NHLJets right here. Jets Recall Lambert, Place Ehlers on Injured Reserve
The Winnipeg Jets have recalled forward Brad Lambert. The Winnipeg Jets have recalled forward Brad Lambert from the Manitoba Moose. On Tuesday, the team announced it had placed forward Nikolaj Ehlers on injured reserve, retroactive to November 29 - the day of Winnipeg's 4-3 loss to Vegas.  Ehlers, who suffered a lower-body injury in that game, did not skate with the team in its 3-1 loss to Dallas on Sunday.  Lambert, who was one of Winnipeg's final cuts this fall, has three goals and 11 points in 16 games for Manitoba this season. He is second on the team in points, while his eight assists are tied for the team lead.  The Lahti, FI. product put up 21 goals and 55 points in 64 contests for the Moose last season - his first in the NHL since being drafted 30th overall by Winnipeg in the 2022 NHL Draft. He put up a singular assist in his lone NHL call-up last season.  Lambert skated between Cole Perfetti and Gabe Vilardi on the Jets' second line during the team's morning skate on Tuesday. Vlad Namestnikov shifted into the top line role, between Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor. Winnipeg is set to face the St. Louis Blues in a Central Division matchup in its first home game in seven showings on Tuesday night. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM central time from Canada Life Centre.
