The month of December has not been kind to the Chicago Blackhawks. They've witnessed injuries to their franchise player Connor Bedard and recently another cornerstone of their organization, Frank Nazar. 

A team that was once competing for a wild-card spot now sits in last place in the NHL. The Blackhawks have drafted in the top three in three consecutive drafts and are on pace to do so again. The Blackhawks want to compete and earn a spot in the playoffs, but another top-three pick this season wouldn't hurt. 

With stud wingers like Gavin McKenna and Ivar Stenberg, the Blackhawks could add a potential superstar winger to play alongside Bedard.
