    Happy Birthday, "Kyle from Chicago"

Blackhawks coach Luke Richardson gave some thought to what he would wear when he met reporters at the team's training facility on Saturday.

He wanted to wish Davidson, the NHL's youngest general manager, a happy 35th birthday, albeit a little sarcastically.

Davidson identified himself only as "Kyle from Chicago" to a hockey podcast crew in Nashville on Wednesday morning before the start of the NHL draft. The podcast interviewer had no idea who Davidson was during a random "man on the street" Q&A and Davidson pranked it.

When Richardson first learned of the podcast interview at the draft, he thought Davidson's appearance had been staged as a "set-up" by the podcast team.

"So I asked our PR department and they said, "No. It was just random. The guy maybe didn't know hockey well or know Kyle, just walking around a different city with his hat on backward, incognito a little bit."

Richardson's wife, Stephanie, bought the "Kyle from Chicago" shirt online.

"I thought I'd wear it," Richardson told reporters. "He (Davidson) saw me a few minutes ago and he's like 'Oh no.'

"The guys were having fun with it over there. He asked if I was wearing it here (to the presser) and he said, 'Oh no' again.' Stretch it out as long as you can."
