Slovak was drafted in the second round in 2023. Appears to be ready for minor pro assignment.

The Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms on Tuesday with forward Martin Misiak on a three-year, entry-level contract that runs through the 2026-27 season and has a $878,333 salary cap hit.
Chicago drafted Misiak, 19, in the second round, 55th overall, in 2023. He skated in 60 regular-season games with the Erie Otters of the OHL during the 2023-24 campaign, finishing fourth on the team with 23 goals and sixth with 47 points in his second season in North America.
Erie has been one of the best OHL teams at grooming NHL talent, led by Edmonton superstar and five-time NHL scoring champion Connor McDavid. Detroit and former Blackhawks sniper Alex DeBrincat, Nashville forward Ryan O'Reilly, and Washington's and former Blackhawk forward Dylan Strome also are Otters alums.
Additionally, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Misiak suited up in one game with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL, making his professional debut on April 21 against the Chicago Wolves.

This was Misiak's second season in North America. The native of Banska Bystrica, Slovakia joined the USHL Youngstown Phantoms midway through 2022-23 to begin his transition from Europe with the NHL in mind.
Misiak turns 20 in September, so the Blackhawks will be able to assign him to Rockford next season after training camp to continue his development.
Misiak represented Slovakia at three IIHF World Junior Championships (2022, 2023 and 2024), totaling four assists in 11 games. In addition, Misiak helped his country to a gold medal at the 2022 U18 World Championships Division 1 tournament, posting a goal and five points in five games.
