DENVER — The Colorado Avalanche return to Ball Arena on Saturday night looking to put an end to a two-game losing streak when they host the Detroit Red Wings.

Colorado has dropped its last two games, including a 3-2 overtime loss to the Nashville Predators, and will be looking to get back in the win column against a Detroit team dealing with similar struggles.

What do the Avalanche do if they get blown out by Jersey on Wednesday?

I’m not saying they will, but if that happens, what will the message be from Jared Bednar?

The Colorado Avalanche have only won five of their first 10 games and have two losses in a row. It’s a slow start even for a team that’s used to turning things around and getting hot as the season progresses.

The Avalanche are back at Ball Arena on Wednesday night as they welcome the Los Angeles Kings to Denver for a 10 p.m. ET matchup on TNT.

It’s an early-season meeting between two Western Conference opponents, with Colorado looking to make its mark on home ice.

Have you played NHL 27 yet? And if so, what do you think?

Ryan O'Hara here.

Hope everyone is well. Just wanted to let you know that it's just me on the team now. Stefano Rubino, who did a solid job for us, will be moving to another team.

Alexandar Georgiev is officially making an NHL comeback or at the very least an attempted return.

Which team is in dire need for Georgiev?
