The Colorado Avalanche lost to the Minnesota Wild last night.
And if you haven’t noticed already, for some Avalanche fans, that apparently means the sky is falling.
We’ve heard it all already. Nathan MacKinnon is the only player worth keeping. Jared Bednar suddenly can’t coach. Brock Nelson is terrible. The second-line center is a disaster. Parker Kelly belongs in the minors. Scott Wedgewood should be shipped back to Canada. Mackenzie Blackwood lets in one goal and suddenly it’s a five-alarm emergency.
One loss, and somehow the conversation turns into “burn the whole thing down.”
Seriously, what is wrong with some of these people? Maybe those politicians warning about tainted marijuana were onto something after all.
