As expected, the Colorado Avalanche have looked like one of the best teams in the NHL to start the season. Their first line has been near unstoppable and five of their six defencemen have a positive plus-minus rating.

As for their goaltending situation, Scott Wedgewood and Trent Miner have stepped up in Mackenzie Blackwood's absence. Wedgewood holds a 5-1-2 record and Miner sits at 0-0-2. But, that's where the problem lies.

The Avalanche are 0-4 in overtime/shootouts, with losses to the Stars, Mammoth, Hurricanes and Devils. While all four teams are off to exceptional starts, clutch situations seperate the good teams from the great. If Colorado can't find a way to pull through in close games, they're in trouble.

What do you think Colorado needs to do to come out on top in tight situations?
