HC Pascal Vincent is making this decision after a few bad games for Laine. Laine made a mistake last night that ended up putting Elvis in a 1-on-1 situation with a Capitals forward who buried it for the game-winner.
Vincent has been both praised and criticized for holding players accountable this season, so this one will be interesting to watch on social media.
Maybe a night off will help jump-start Patrik's season.
