Wilkie was signed by the Cleveland Monsters to a professional tryout contract on October 8th.
Former Cleveland Monsters PTO Chris Wilkie has signed with Löwen Frankfurt of the DEL in Germany.
Wilkie was released from his PTO two days ago after playing in six games for Cleveland. He recorded a goal and two assists in those six games.
This is the third team Wilkie has played for in the DEL. In 2022-23 he played for the Bietigheim Steelers and had 27 points in 44 games. In 2023-24 he was signed to the Grizzlys Wolfsburg and had 33 points in 50 games.
He also played six games in the KHL for Kunlun Red Star before signing with Cleveland.
The Omaha, Nebraska native has yet to play in an NHL game after being drafted by the Florida Panthers in 2015.
What's Next - The Blue Jackets have a few days off as they trek to Southern California to take on the LA Kings on Saturday.
