Maybe changing his number will change his luck
It seems Cole Sillinger will be starting fresh this season. The CBJ announced he will be changing his jersey number from 34 to 4.
The last player to wear number 4 was Vladislav Gavrikov in 2023. The first player to wear it was the Blue Jackets first Captain Lyle Odelein.
Other players to have worn number 4 were Bryan Berard, John Moore, Kevin Connauton and Scott Harrington.
Cole Sillinger needs to bounce back, maybe changing his luck will start by changing his number.
