Dmitri Voronkov will wear #10

Voronkov will get to keep his familiar number

The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced that Russian import Dmitri Voronkov will wear jersey #10 for the upcoming season. The new Blue Jacket is projected to slot in on the 4^th line, and quite possibly in Cleveland when the season starts.

The #10 jersey has been worn by a few CBJ fan favorites. The first to wear it was Serge Aubin. Followed by Trevor Letowski, Duvie Wescott, Kris Russell, Marian Gaborik, Mark Letestu, Jack Skille and Alex Wennberg. All these players have special places in CBJ fans hearts in some way, shape or form.

Voronkov, who signed a 2-year entry level contract on May 4^th, 2023, has been waiting for his chance to come to North America, and fans have been eagerly awaiting his arrival as well.

By all accounts, Voronkov is a tough player who has some scoring touch to him. This will be fun to watch.
