Official Energy Drink Partner Announced
WOOOOO! Energy has announced that it will be the official energy drink of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
In a press statement released on Thursday, the company says:

THN Columbus was invited to one of the meet and greets Flair and WOOOOO! had yesterday head of opening night. The meet and greet was held at a local Giant Eagle Market District store near the Columbus Airport. Giant Eagle has partnered with WOOOOO! to be an exclusive retailer. We had the pleasure of spending a few minutes with The Nature Boy and asked him a few questions.
THN: Welcome to Columbus! Are you a big hockey fan? And if so, do you have a favorite team?
Flair: Yes! I'm from Minnesota and I went to high school with the owner of the Blackhawks, the Wirtz family, so I've been a Blackhawk fan forever. But now that I'm in Tampa, I'm a big Lightning fan. But now I'm a Blue Jacket Fan!
THN: YES! How did the partnership with the Blue Jackets come about?
Flair: It's all a result of the relationship with the grocery store chain, Giant Eagle. Everything that has happened in a positive way with the Cavaliers, is all a result of them. *this is where I joked about taking over Ohio, and he agreed that was the plan*
THN: With the hockey culture that you know all about, how do you think your energy drink fits in with that culture?
Flair: It's great! I'm an energetic guy and if you don't realize how energetic and how skilled, and what kind of shape these hockey players are in, and the 3% body fat they're skating with, it's the toughest sport in the world.
THN: Well, you can't go to an NHL arena it seems without hearing your famous WOOOOO! No matter whether the home team is winning or losing, you always seem to hear the WOOOOS!
Flair: Thank you Thank you!
THN: I can't wait to try your drink, I'm intrigued by the ingredients and flavors.
Flair: It's the best I promise you. You'll be wide awake!

Ric Flair did have a good time at the game last night it seemed. He walked the blue carpet into the arena, and then during the game, he gave one of his famous rousing speeches to get the crowd fired up, and yes he WOOOOO'd, as did the entire crowd.
