The Cleveland Monsters were busy this week
The Cleveland Monsters released their 2023-24 schedule. The Monsters will enjoy a 72-game schedule in the AHL’s Eastern Conference North Division. They’ll play 14 teams including cross division games against the Hartford Wolf Pack and Providence Bruins. Other out of division games will include the Charlotte Checkers, Hershey Bears, Lehigh Valley Phantoms and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The Monsters will also play the Chicago Wolves and Grand Rapids Griffins of the Western Conference.
The Monsters also unveiled some slick new jerseys for 2023-24. The new jerseys will include a new logo set, a beautiful new blue color and new wordmark. The blue represents Lake Erie and gives a shoutout to the Cleveland Barons, who played in Cleveland until 1973. These are the same jerseys that the Monsters wore during their outdoor game a few months ago played at First Energy Stadium.
Cleveland has been busy and should be good on the ice. The Monsters will also ice a Calder Cup contending team as the Blue Jackets prospect pool is as deep as Lake Erie. It’s highly recommended you make the drive up to Cleveland this year to watch, it should be worth the drive.
