With 40 points on the season, he now has the second most points through 36 games in team history. He also has 13 points in the last 7 games and is a plus-17 on the year. He's only two points shy of his career high of 42, which he set last season. He's also just 9 goals shy of his career-high as well. He only has one power-play goal on the season, so imagine if he ever gets clicking in that part of his game. The Jackets are now 15-15-6 with 36 points. They're 5th in the Metro and sit two points behind the second wildcard spot.
