Fasching says via a press release, "My family and I are really looking forward to coming to Sweden and Skellefteå. It feels like an exciting next step for us, both on and off the ice. I'm looking forward to meeting the team, getting to know my new teammates and getting the season started. Hopefully I can contribute with experience, hard work and together with the team aim for another gold." General Manager Erik Forssell on Fasching, "Hudson is a talented player with extensive experience from hockey life in North America who will now be playing his first season in Europe. In North America he has tried many different roles on his teams, which makes him versatile here. We believe he will be a good addition to the ambition to compete for Swedish Championship gold again in the spring."
