The Seattle Kraken are trading for Toronto Maple Leafs winger Bobby McMann, according to reports from insiders Frank Seravalli and Dave Pagnotta. The return going to Toronto is a 2027 second round pick and a 2026 fourth round pick.
McMann, 29, would arrive in Seattle during a productive season with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Through 60 games in the 2025–26 season, the winger has recorded 19 goals and 13 assists for 32 points.
The Wainwright, Alberta native has established himself as a reliable secondary scorer and physical presence in Toronto’s lineup and will look to bring that same style of play to the Kraken.
The potential move could also impact the Western Conference playoff picture, particularly for the Dallas Stars. If both teams advance past the first round of the postseason, Seattle and Dallas could meet in the playoffs. Adding McMann would give the Avalanche another depth scoring option heading into that possibility.
Originally signed by Toronto as an undrafted college free agent in 2020, McMann gradually carved out a regular NHL role through his combination of size, speed, and forechecking ability. Over his NHL career, he has appeared in 196 games with 54 goals and 37 assists for 91 points.
Further details on the McMann trade, including the return headed to Toronto, are expected once the deal becomes official.
