Happy 37th Birthday to former Dallas Stars forward Colton Sceviour. The Red Deer, Alberta native spent five seasons in Dallas from 2010 to 2016, appearing in 170 games and recording 28 goals and 34 assists for 62 points.

He carved out a steady role as a reliable bottom-six forward, providing secondary scoring while also handling strong defensive responsibilities.

Originally signed by Dallas as an undrafted free agent, Sceviour climbed through the organization the hard way, earning a full-time NHL spot through his work ethic, penalty killing ability, and consistent high-energy play. He eventually became a dependable contributor who regularly produced around the 25-point mark in a supporting role.

After his tenure with the Stars, he went on to play for the Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Edmonton Oilers, continuing his career as a versatile depth forward across multiple NHL rosters.

Across 11 NHL seasons, Sceviour totaled 66 goals and 90 assists for 156 points. He is now continuing his professional career overseas and is in his second full season with Swiss club SC Bern.
