Head coach Pete DeBoer continues to be impressed by Duchene's contributions.
"He's driving play for us right now. He's been our best player for a few weeks here," praised DeBoer. "Every time he hits the ice, he's demanding the puck and he's attacking the middle of the ice and holes in the defense and creating room for other people. He's just playing at a really high level right now."
Dallas trailed 2-0 in the first period before battling back with five straight goals.
Mason Marchment, Craig Smith, Tyler Seguin and Jason Robertson also found the back of the net. Robertson's tally was an empty-netter.
Goaltender Jake Oettinger made 25 saves on 27 shots.
The Stars' road trip continues with a matchup against the Jets on Saturday afternoon in Winnipeg. Puck drop is 2:00 p.m. CT.
