Logan Stankoven, Mavrik Bourque, Matej Blumel and head coach Neil Graham will all be heading to San Jose to represent the Texas Stars at the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic.
Logan Stankoven, Mavrik Bourque, Matej Blumel and head coach Neil Graham will all be heading to San Jose to represent the Texas Stars at the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic.
Blumel, Bourque and Stankoven will headline the central division roster that includes other top NHL prospects in Yaroslav Askarov, Jesper Wallstedt, Jonathan Berggren, Simon Edvinsson, Ethan Del, Mastro and Brad Lambert.
All three Stars players will be playing in their first all-star game. Blumel is a 23-year-old winger enjoying a great second season with the Stars. Blumel has 14 goals and 28 points in 31 games this season.
Bourque leads the AHL in points this season with 41 points in 31 games. Stankoven sits second on the points leaderboard with 39 points in 31 games.
This will be the second time Graham will be coaching the central division since taking over as the Stars head coach five years ago.
The three young all-stars and Graham will head to San Jose to participate in a skills competition and a 3-on-3 tournament that's held on February 4th and 5th.
