Jason Robertson continues to impress with absolutely remarkable moves.

DALLAS - Joe Pavelski’s power-play goal in the third period proved to be the game-winner in a 3-1 victory over the Avalanche on Tuesday night at American Airlines Center.
The Stars improved to 4-0-1 during the exhibition schedule with the win.
Goaltender Jake Oettinger made his preseason debut, playing 40 minutes and stopping nine of 10 shots. He was then replaced by Scott Wedgewood for the final stanza.
“It was fun. You can’t really simulate that in practice,” said Oettinger. “There are a couple of things that I still want to work on, just conditioning and getting back into the focus-level that it takes to be good for 60 minutes, so it was a good start.”
Jason Robertson opened the scoring for Dallas late in the middle frame with a highlight-reel tally that tied things up 1-1.
It was his third goal of the preseason.
“You get used to him doing that. You see it in practice. It’s an unbelievably skilled play to do at full speed in a game, and he makes it look easy,” said head coach Pete DeBoer. “He’s just a special player.”
Craig Smith capped the scoring with an empty-netter for the Stars.
For his part, Radek Faksa was on the receiving end of a hard hit from Avalanche defenseman Nate Clurman in the third period, which resulted in a game misconduct for boarding.
That ultimately led to the Pavelski snipe which put Dallas ahead for good.
DeBoer provided a brief update on Faksa’s condition during his postgame press conference.
“He got drilled into the boards and hit his head. He was getting stitched up when I saw him, so I don’t have a full analysis yet,” said DeBoer. “I don’t know [if Faksa will enter concussion protocol]. Sometimes these things can come on later or not. He was fairly clear-headed there when I just talked to him when he was getting stitched up.”
The Stars are back in action on Thursday night when they host the Blues beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.
