DALLAS - The Stars finish up a two-game road trip with a matchup against the Ducks at the Honda Center in Anaheim tonight. Puck drop is 9:00 p.m. CT.

Head coach Pete DeBoer's contingent suffered a 3-2 shootout loss to the Golden Knights on Tuesday night in Las Vegas.

Forward Wyatt Johnston didn't participate in Wednesday's practice in Southern California. He was given the day off.

DeBoer was asked about Johnston's status following the on-ice session.

"He missed camp with an injury, so we’re just being smart. He played [against Vegas], so he’ll be off today," said DeBoer. "I presume he’ll play [against Anaheim], but you never know with things."

Goaltender Jake Oettinger has been outstanding through two starts.

    He has compiled a 1.38 goals-against average and a .948 save percentage.

Dallas will hold a morning skate at 1:30 p.m. CT where we should get lineup news.

Anaheim owns a 1-1-0 record on the season.

Forward Frank Vatrano is coming off a hat-trick performance against the Hurricanes on October 15.
