This surgery is expected to keep Seguin out until close to the end of the regular season, if not for the entirety of it. He had to re-learn how to walk, let alone how to skate and play hockey at the elite level that was expected of him at that point of his career. He finally hit his stride this season, not only personally, but as a part of one of the best lines in hockey with Duchene and Marchment. And a lot of that is credit to that trio of players who have carried Dallas so far, especially on the road. He was on pace to have an 86 point season, which would have been a career high for him.
