
From The Silky Mitten State: On Jonatan Berggren's value and future in Detroit

Jonatan Berggren spent three games with the Detroit Red Wings this week, in the young forward's latest NHL cameo.
Before this opportunity came, Berggren was the subject of trade rumors, raising questions as to whether this stint in Detroit might be auditioning stage for his next destination.
Regardless of the veracity of those rumors, Berggren—who didn't play more than 10:12 in any of his three games up with Detroit—proved that his scoring touch remains potent with two goals and an assist during his time with the Red Wings.
In his first game with Grand Rapids since being sent down, Berggren scored the empty-net goal to seal a 4-2 Griffins' win over the Texas Stars.
