The kid played a great game. I hope Tarasov gets healthy and the DRW trade Gibson. I posted this before. The NYR are looking for a veteran goalie. I'm hoping they take Gibson off our hands. He fits perfectly for them, as he'll be a UFA this summer.Oct 27, 2026

Quinn Hughes

I just read an article from NHLRumors.com. In the article it said Hughes is looking for a 3 year deal , because Jack Hughes will be a UFA after that season. Jack will be a UFA after the 29/30 season. He would be 29 at the time. Quinn will be 30. Still in their primes, would you like to see the DRW sign both that summer? You know they want to play on the same team. Of course, it depends on Cap Space, and where they want to play. Any thoughts?Aug 11, 2026

WINGS TRADE UPDATE

The Detroit Red Wings just traded Joe Veleno to the Chicago Black Hawks for Petr Mrazek and Craig Smith.  It'll be Mrazek's second stint with Detroit.  In 33 games, Mrazek was 10 - 19 - 2. GAA 3.46 with an 890 save percentage.  Craig Smith 40 games 9 G and 7 A for 16 Points. 2 PPG.  Joe Veleno 56 games 5 G and 5A for 10 points.  I don't think this was a win for either team. Maybe a change of scenery will help Veleno. I've always felt he's been an underachiever. Mar 7, 2025
